I hear people saying Israel stole the land, that land has changed hands so many times in history. Bottom line is Jewish people lived on that land for what 2k years before Islam was even founded. Jews got kicked off the land, the Ottamans owned it, then the brits, then creation of Israel. They lost more land by attacking Israel in the 6 day war. Land is never returned in the modern history of the world. Large chunks of USA was Mexico we aren't giving it back.
Large chunks (actually ALL) of USA was indigenous land and I don't see that going back either.

The attacks on those villages shook me to my core. Children hiding with their families in closets, just like Anne Frank, so they wouldn’t get shot and slaughtered. Reminded me of Kristalnacht or the Eastern European pogroms. Glad this country is standing up, and aside from a few misguided college graduates, leftist professors, and agitators, western society is standing up and saying never again. Hamas is the evil of the Nazis reincarnated, as far as I am concerned.

You forgot that white people invented the idea of taking other people's land.
In this context, Israelis are white, Palestinian Arabs aren't,, so it's simple oppressor vs oppressed dynamic that I don't understand how people on college campuses aren't exhausted of for its base, simplistic answers to everything. It's been going on for decades.

We can feel bad for the Palestinians trapped in Gaza. We can also acknowledge that if Hamas attacks Israel, Israel will - and should - fight back. (If Canadian terrorists similarly attacked the US, Americans would certainly retaliate, no?) Why are American people protesting against self-defense??

Social media was not around then. You don’t have YouTube or Facebook live. Now anyone can make a video and promote the crap out of it till lie becomes truth. There is zero way of telling what’s true and what’s not now.
