I know. I was responding to the comment that said school buses do not have seat belts.

BTW, my son was on one of the buses and saw everything.

A blow out front tire doesn’t usually take the bus off the road like that. So I wonder what happened. I’m sure investigators know more.
If you hold the wheel, even with a blow out you can still hold it together more or less and slow down.

If you're bringing any kind of government entity into a lawsuit you have to do so sooner rather than later. Bringing a suit is just protecting their right to make a claim at this point. And for the kids who were injured they 100% will collect - who that is from remains to be seen but they need to protect their rights now.

They are suing the district (yet), just the driver and bus company.

FYI suing your own school district is like suing yourself and all your neighbors

Why would anyone sue the district? That is absurd. Is it Farmingdale’s School District’s fault for having a music program that everyone loved and brought enthusiasm to many of the students. Why not sue Henry ford for mass producing automobiles or Eisenhower for investing in the major interstate highways? Never ceases to amaze me how people try to find fault in everything. Maybe it is just a blown tire. Sometimes, there is no one to blame other than something out of anyone’s control. This is as ridiculous as suing gun manufacturers for someone getting shot.
