Mavis or good year. Costco sucks, if they don't have it in stock it could be weeks to arrive after they order it. And they don't even call when it arrives, you have to
A while back, my daughters car needed tires. I went to All Weather. Told them I wanted something safe as my daughter and granddaughter would be riding in that car. Didn't ask for cheap. Didn't haggle price. All I wanted was safe.
About one year later, she had a blow-out in one tire. More like it fell apart. Turns out all four tires had rot. Fortunately, it happened at slow speed and no one was hurt.
After a little investigation, I learned that the tires were _very_ old. I never realized tires had a shelf life. These weren't used tires, they were just OLD tires that had been sitting around for years. They were not safe and should not have been sold.
I'll never go back to All Weather. Mavis, and most other local places, offer pretty much the same price (for "unexpired" tires). Even many dealerships have the same price as these "discount" places. I'm not going to roll the dice and hope my tires won't fall apart on the LIE.
Mavis on Sunrise in Bayshore been there may times. Bought Cooper Brand for my 2015 Versa 2 weeks ago. Have Coopers on my other car as well. they had a special 99.00 each
They install them. Actually, one time, I needed a tire for my 2011 Santa Fe and went to STS. They charged me $200. Within a year, that tire got a flat so I had to replace it. I looked online and found the exact same tire (Toro?) for $85 at Tires Direct. I bought 4 of them for $340. I got them and went to Walmart, who mounted and balanced them for $15/ tire. So, $400 for four tires instead of the $800 I would have been charged locally.
Is that a Walmart in Suffolk? I am only familiar with the Walmarts in Valley Stream, Levittown, and Westbury. None of those have autocenters.

The one in Farmingdale has a autocenter. I have never used it outside of buying a battery. I am going touse them in Dec as wifes car needs tires and they have the best price on goodyears by at least $150 installed. I hate to buy goodyear due to price, she got 60k miles on them driving into queens for work so they are well worth it.
Stay away from Mavis. Mavis scam like many other shops is they magically find things wrong with your car to drum up business and fork over sky high bills
