Curran would probably welcome them with open arms. Bellone should be louder on this issue. I think he is scared to speak as he is term limited and wants to keep a low profile as to not hurt the D chances in November. Every time I see mayor “swagger” complain I laugh. NYC voted for this it’s there problem not the surrounding counties.

Well, if Adams’ gets his way regarding housing for ‘migrants’ it won’t be just a NYC problem.
And folks who voted Biden actually created this self-inflicted national migrant crisis. Once in a blue moon the media slip and notes Biden’s responsibility regarding the porous southern border (and then resumes Trump coverage).

I keep seeing them called migrants, which means workers who move from place to place, often for agriculture jobs.
I can't see NYC needing to deal with that.

The proper term is “illegals”. Or “fraudulent asylum claimants” if you prefer
