Illinois residents are hurting financially more than most other states.
Maybe JB should wise up and reopen the state.

I wonder how many residents are going to not be able to pay the Dem's exorbitant property taxes and wind up losing their home.

Or outside of that are behind on their rent & face eviction when the moratorium ends.
I think well see a spike in homelessness everywhere

Exactly what he wants... same for Lightfoot, just a political charade to try to drag this out and hurt Trump's reelection chances.

Notice that all things fun are cancelled (Taste of Chicago, Lollapalooza, Beaches, etc.), but protests, riots and looting are allowed. Both of these political hacks have a bad case of TDS.

Except I think voters will remember who kept business closed and it wasn't Trump. But seeing how IL. voters keep putting the same ones back in office I'm not so sure. Trump won't win IL. anyway so it's a moot point. I do believe however, that both pritzker and lightfoot are one term losers.

What would you like to see “reopened” that isn’t already? Would have preferred we let er rip several weeks ago only to be faced with a second covid related shutdown later this month (as states like Arizona are now contemplating)?

Yes. Wisconsin and Georgia opened up a month ago and are fine but have saved their economy. Tens of thousands of people are flooding up to Wisconsin every weekend...partying and having fun...and coming back (myself included). Add on top of that all the protesters and rioters that did not social distance at all and you can see the only thing we're doing is ruining the economy. Open everything up NOW.

Master Jay - Totally agree. I went to Lake Geneva on Monday to go boating and it was mostly Illinois plates in the parking lot. I know people typically head up there for the summer but it's 10-fold now with everything open up there.

dtcbnd03, ahh, Lake Geneva! I really need to go back there. It's been 2 years. I planned a bicycle ride in Chicago on June 27th. My cousin loves your lake front. I hope it's open by then :/
