Here's one for you guys, and let's get the thread going again: Name a town, any town, that would have been in Idaho today and not in Montana, if the government survey crew had done their job right according to Congress longiture/latitude prescriptions, and hadn't gotten lost? True story, I read it over on the Montana forum on an old thread.

Missoula

Well, I didn't answer the last one, but here's a new question. What Idaho town is known for a gold mine in a bedroom?

Yes, Montana west of the Divide was supposed to be part of Idaho, according to the info I read! The surveyers were too far to the west, and used the Bitterroots as the boundary. That's why we've got a "Panhandle." Kalispell, Whitefish, the whole Bitterroot Valley, Flathead Lake, and the entire length of the Clark Fork would have been in ID, I guess! Is it too late to ask for a re-survey?

Carved by glaciers, I remember CFF posting a picture of a 2000 foot wall of ice in the backyard.

Here's a little different one.

If annual marijuana crop revenue were reported in Idaho, where would it rank as far as other legal crops in revenue brought into the state? (answer is estimates of the guvmint.)

It is ranked number five behind 1. potatoes 2. Hay 3. Wheat 4. sugar beets.

Probably no change from famous potatoes for a while though.
