Yale was a town right next to Harvard and Princeton years ago, it is pretty much gone now. Yup, Vassar is not Ivy League but it is one of the "seven sisters". I wonder if we have any towns named after any more of the Seven Sisters: Bryn Mawr, Smith, Vassar, Radcliffe, Barnard, Mount Holyoke or Wellesley.

Maybe the railroad barons didn't believe in edjumacating their daughters?
