NoMoss, are you seeking any place suggestions? If so, what are your priority criteria?

Thanks for asking, Crow.

I'm looking for a property with fixer house, but not decrepit and not overpriced, with water and electric/ nat gas utilities in place, and room for a couple or few critters and garden for self-reliance to the best degree. Twin, Blackfoot, Pokie and environs. Buhl seems pleasant and offers possibilities. Although, it seems the Buhl canyon floor's winter weather can be rather beastly.

Had an informational conversation with an honest broker/ appraiser (ret), so, not a lamb among RE wolves in an unfamiliar area. Lodge friends in Twin.

Additional Must-Haves and WishList items may pose themselves, but largely, above are what I'm ISO for a place to call home; somewhat of an improved repeat of my former Gem Co property. I bought it to remodel as with a previous property 'in another state' but after three appraisals/ estimates, decided to demolish and start fresh on the acre.

Would this one be anywhere near the ballpark of what you'd consider?

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/4...13860280_zpid/

40 miles to Pocatello.

Or this one?

https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/1...13849343_zpid/

Also 40 miles to Pocatello.

Thank you, Crow; The Amer Falls prop appears to be close to what I seek in a 2/1, with bonus of a shop, on land, outside of town, near a larger city which is not a sprawling metropolis.

Will forward to my broker/ appraiser friend. He did caution me againsst Zillow, since any monies fronted may be lost or forfeited in the event of a competing buyer. I will check into the legal description of it.

I suggest finding the same listings in Realtor.com and take it from there.

Thank you, CFF, As I mentioned, I will bring the properties to the attention of a known broker/ appraiser (ret).

The Zillow website is easier to navigate than Relator.com.

I know, but it isn't as accurate. I know, after 18 months of research, and testimony from realtors.

I don't have a substantive opinion to offer re the comparisons between zillow and realtor, though I have subscribed to alerts from auction.

Crow, Don has the emailed links to properties you located.

Any specifics on which info on Zillow is inaccurate?
