In particular, those were taken with a high end point and shoot Canon model. However I generally use a Nikon D700 with either a Tamron 28-300vc or Nikkor 24-70 f2.8 lens. You can see more of what I do at the following:

Near the top of Galena Summit, Highway 75, looking south along the Boulder Mountains toward Ketchum and Sun Valley. The highway which is hidden by the trees, runs along the base of the mountains. 2008









Mt. Baldy, Sun Valley/Ketchum. I took this picture from a turnout along the highway above the Big Wood River in north Ketchum, you can also see the greenbelt.

What fabulous photos! Such a beautiful state. I love seeing all the wildlife and open spaces. Of course, the lakes and rivers are fantastic too. Sign! Someday I hope I'll have photos of my own little corner of Idaho to add.
