Tuesday 22Aug 1aCDT/2aEDT: blob of showers in the Gulf known as PTC9 became TD9 Monday evening, now TS Harold about 195miles(310km) ESE Port Mansfield, TX.

Winds 45mph(75km/h), moving WNW 18mph(30km/h), pressure 1004mb.

TS Warning and Watch were issued Monday for portions of South TX. Storm Surge of 1-3ft S Texas, no Watch/Warning as criteria for that is about 3ft+.

Rain maker. Several inches South Texas (sorry, for others wanting rain it’s moving West), several inches more for North Mexico.

May bring some scattered showers towards New Mexico and Arizona eventually.

A few tornadoes will also be possible S TX.

Not likely. Radar looks decent. But satellite and in storm air recon show the storm has no real structure. Gusty winds on the North side to be sure tho of 50mph+ possible looks like. Will likely try until landfall.

Harold made landfall Padre Island, TX around 10aCDT with 50mph(85km/h) winds. The main blob of rain has been steadily making it's way WNW along the TX/Mexico border since, now from San Antonio to Laredo and points West mainly. Bands will continue to tap into the Gulf and bring lines of scattered showers inland.

As of 4pCDT/5pEDT a Tropical Depression with max winds of 35mph.

Rains eventually help spark showers in NM/AZ.

Wednesday morning: Still a Depression status with 30mph max winds. Blob of rain near El Paso, with an impressive tail reaching all the way back into the Gulf of Mexico still pulling moisture.
