I cant remember that far back, but they made these really good hamburgers/cheeseburgers. I loved them, and a lot of us bought them. They were made with oatmeal as an ingredient. now that doesn't sound too good but it added to a very nice flavor.

Oh boy - i loved many of the school lunches. But mom packed plenty of good ones also. I would pick from the menu which days i wanted to "buy" ahead of time.

Seems like i remember a weird dessert called prune whip. And they served apple crisp all the time, which i love, but it was covered with shredded cheese. I know that's something adults may eat, but didn't seem like a kid thing. I removed the cheese.
