I think Disney loses that lawsuit. I'm on the State's side on that one.

Lobbying to alter public policy is the way corps speak out...not by yacking out anti-gov't opinions through the media.

Disney's failing financially, so they are ditching the woke rheoric for now, to try to improve their financials, and stock price.

Disney proved once again that you cannot beat City Hall.
According to the law, corporations are people. As people, they have the same protections under the law as all other people.

Here's one (of many) explanation:

A lot of individuals protested against this ruling, but it was passed anyway.

“Walt Disney World is currently in the process of filing permits for development work behind Magic Kingdom that will prepare the area for a future expansion expected to be the largest expansion in the park’s history,”

"The new area will be around the size as Hollywood Studios’ 14-acre “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” land."

I agree it's a win / win for Disney and the State.

Too expensive for most families now. Then again, they are marketing at the top 25% and higher.

So punish Floridians... for believing in the rule of law and holding Disney accountable for their abuse. Gotcha, your true colors shinning through.

You KNOW that not what happened over the Parental Rights Bill... maybe in your mind you think it happened that way, but to suggest they had their rights taken away for voicing their opinion is a flat out lie.

Legitimate question, how much currently unused land do they own in LBV? I searched, but couldn’t find a definite answer…

Also, what’s the status of RCID?

In the CNBC Iger interview, he said that the purpose of Disney was to entertain, and that they are redoubling their efforts towards that goal. He didn’t say this, but the goal of all public corporations is also to protect shareholder value. Let’s face it, the noise surrounding Disney didn’t make you think it was an entertaining place, and the stock hadn’t made much of a move in years, so Disney was disappointing both customers and shareholders.

We’ll see how the federal lawsuit goes regarding Disney’s protected speech. It really benefits both Disney and Florida to put it behind them, as it’s money and time best spent elsewhere. For Disney, that means returning to its glory days as “the happiest place in the world” and for the state, continuing to go forward spending money on improving the lives of its residents, rather than in the courts.

What abuse? Disney wasn't breaking any laws. They objectived to a bill, which last time I checked was a 1A right.
