Almost moved to Edina in the early 80’s. The R values on homes and having to plug your car into the oil dipstick was not to our liking.

I both love and hate it. It's definitely not for everyone. I find the people hard to deal with, especially in the area where I live, but I've also met some of the kindest, most amazing people, too. Stupid people everywhere, though, especially these days. Florida is an odd place, because I feel like many people come here looking for something, and after a few years go by, they are either in love with it or they are stuck in the absolute depths of misery. I dunno, the weather sure is nice and the lower cost of living means I can spend more $$ on traveling to better places. LOL. I'm also an AP holder, so going to Disney a few times every month is a pretty cool perk.

Depending on what you do for a living, it's pretty much a career killer though. ha!
