It is what it is..... North Dakota needs anyone.... that's why even wal-mart workers there start around $17/hour.

Takes a special type of person I suppose? Like those guy's who work the crab boats in Alaska, God knows all those Baby Boomers down here have to have their Alaskan King Crab Sunset Special.

Some Sarcastic words from my neighbor the EE...when I told him to move there as a joke...he said "Good way to make some quick money and use it to go back to school for Engineering if your single with no kids, surely a top tier respected school would be $125K-$200K in tuition and room and board if you can even get in. Take tons Advanced Math, Calculus and Differential Equation Classes, move to Florida and get offered $75K as an Senior Engineer after 15 years of working in the field, seems like a plan".

I e-mailed him this same article:

That's all relative and not too much since the rent for a 1 bedroom if you can even find it is $2100+/month

$2100/month for a one bedroom place in North Dakota?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Not a chance, I wouldn't live there if the rent was free and the job paid 6 figures.

Exactly.

Which is why people shouldn't be surprised that FL has lower paying jobs and a lot of people looking
