Well, I don't know any (sane) humans that would sniff other humans pee and poop, occasionally lick or eat it, or perform self-hygiene by licking their parts ...
I Seen human babies & elderly ... you should see what really goes on in day cares & nursing homes. Take a look at the porn flicks.
I learned, when petting my dog and putting my face near his mouth, to fold my lips inward to decrease the chances that he (or any dog) might lick my lips or the inside of my mouth; also, I would angle my face so he would lick my chin and ears and cheeks rather than the mouth.
I never minded being licked by dogs or puppies on my limbs either, just not on or inside the mouth, and, obviously, not in certain other areas that I am not going to discuss.
In my decades of associating with and owning dogs, I have been probably accidentally licked on the lip a few times; but I never caught any nasty/unusual/zoonotic disease (probably because all the dogs who did so were clean and healthy).
I let my dog lick me on the face, the feet, arms, wherever...except the inside of my mouth. And if he DOES slip a little tongue, it's not that big a deal to me. I definitely don't welcome it, but I don't need the antiseptic either.
It's funny when you see a dog just plant one on someone when their mouth was open talking and all. You almost have to wonder if the dog plans it that way.
