Puppies heal remarkably fast. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Bosch is good to go on Wednesday. But I totally understand erring on the side of caution. Probably your vet has already padded the recovery time a bit to make absolutely certain that eye is fine.
Regardless, Bosch is one handsome guy.
You nailed it. No cone! They were quite pleased as were we.
How in the world do you and Mrs. k7 get anything done when you have that gorgeous face to look at?
When Parker was alive, he went literally everywhere with me. Bosch will be the same. MrsK7 works from home so it’s a good thing when I have errands to do. We stopped at Lowe’s again today. The young lady who lost her dog was working and immediately came over to visit. Everyone loves puppies and he certainly attracts a lot of attention and gives a lot of smiles. It’s a blessing that he’s healthy!
He is a handsome boy. Love that picture. He has beautiful expressions along with those ears. Looks like he loves traveling in the vehicle already. Glad his eye healed well. Looking forward to seeing him grow.

Thank you. Those ears and feet may foretell his future size. Who knows how large this runt of the litter might be?
He’s mastered ringing the bell to go potty and now that he’s out of the cone, we’ll begin crate training, probably tonight. We’ve learned to take him out at night to potty rather than letting him wake up to go. He goes back to sleep immediately this way, rather than wanting to play or bite if he wakes himself up.
When Parker traveled, it was via a crate secured behind the driver’s seat in our truck. For now, Bosch wears a vest that’s secured to the front passenger seat but he’ll move to the crate soon enough.

Bosch is developing into quite a dog. Attentive, great listener and he’s slowly earning more freedom. He’s made the transition from sleeping in his crate to sleeping wherever he wants…as long as it’s not our bed. Lol.
We have an invisible fence and while he does quite well, the UPS truck is just too much temptation. We’ll work on that. He understands what when the red collar comes off, he can go outside the line. He’s quite cautious though. There are occasional times I have to persuade him to follow me.
He has a little friend, Bear, who lives several hundred yards away. Bear is allowed to roam and it’s just a matter of time before he’ll get hit by a car. He makes two trips over almost everyday, morning and early evening. Bosch is so cute, he’ll sit outside staring at the driveway waiting on his friend. He just passed nine months old and we love him as much as his uncle, Parker.
And yes, he’s allowed on the couch, as long as it’s covered.
He has grown into such a handsome boy. Beautiful coat and it sounds like he's smart too. Thanks for the update!
