I hope to have a Blenheim in a few years. Right now we are owned by three Japanese Chins, one of whom is 14 and almost at the end of his well-lived life.
Our Naomi Cavalier (Mix?) came from death row. Probably a pet shop or backyard bred dog, she went through three different owners before we took her from the dank, stinking dungeon of a county kill facility. We only had her 5 years before MVD took her from us.
Ordinarily, we do rescues, but I want a (hopefully) assured clean bill of health from our next pupper. Rescuing poorly bred dogs, despite the love they give, can wear you down.
One thing I found out about this dog, is he can jump. Big time jump. They told me he was athletic, but damn. I'll see if I can get a pic, when it's light outside. Great companion, though.
