I have 4 dogs: 2 chihuahuas, 1 Shih Tzu, 1 Yorkie, I just applied Pet Armor to all 4 dogs. I'll let you know in 48 hours! I also have 4 cats and am applying the cat version on them. will respond on that as well.
how bizarre... i came here looking to see what others had to say about it! LOL
i put it on all 11 of my cats and my dog, so i guess we shall find out how it works for us! supposedly its the same formula as frontline so I *expect* it to work as well!
Costco also sells Frontline Plus, I think it's about $37-38 for a 3-pk. What we do is buy the larger size and divide it among our small dogs, it's quite a savings (you need a syringe w/o a needle to apply it, they also sell Frontline kits on eBay that you can re-use once you get the syringe). Can't divide the h/w preventative though as it's a different concentrations but w/ the liquid Frontline, you can (and I imagine w the Pet Armor which we've yet to try, prob. will once we run out of Frontline). Just a thought.

I will probably switch back to Frontline since I order it from out of the country and only pay 24 bucks for it; 4 bucks off doesnt sound like much but with 4 dogs that works out to a fairly large savings. In a pinch I will purchase the Pet Armor Plus from Walmart. The flea and tick season is in full swing here in Florida so its very important to keep the dogs protected. Best of luck! I recently rescued a german shepherd and discovered she has a small tick problem. I have never had to deal with ticks before. If they are already on her, aside from manually pulling them out, do these kinds of products work for that or are they just a preventative?

thanks for the info! i did not really any of this. i am so frustrated for her ....Can a vet or groomer remove them? I know, stupid question, but I really havent dealt w this problem before. We had a flea epidemic 2 summers ago, that was heinous but pales in comparison to this tick drama.

She should be fine ....going forward, use one of the vet-approved/prescription-type flea and tick preventatives. There are several threads on this forum about them. Also heartworm preventative! Very important.

OK it's been a couple of weeks since I applied Pet Armor. My dogs and cats are flee free!!! And very happy!! I bought the larger size and split it among the smaller dogs. What a huge savings!!

Works WONDERFULLY!!! Love it, just started using it this month but I wont spend the extra for frontline again.
