Took this today of the husky/mix one, my new buddy!
A little story about what he did today.....
I bought him a big squeaky ball last week and the next day I noticed it disappeared in the yard. I thought the people may had taken it away. Today I was playing ball with my dogs and he was watching like in this photo, barking and wanting to play too! I went over to him and said in an excited kind of way, where is your ball? He ran to the area by the patio where the short haired one had dug a deep hole to sleep in. All of a sudden he started digging in that hole like crazy and out popped the ball I gave him. He then brought it over to me so proudly then dropped it. I guess it was his way of saying, "thank you for the ball and see, I kept it safe". OMG, that brought tears to my eyes.
He went back to that hole a minute later and took one of his big dog biscuits I gave him out of that hole and brought that to me. I bet that is where the other little ball is too! And people say animals are stupid! I wish I had that on video. Amazing dog!

Oh my gosh, I have goosebumps just READING this... I know I'd be crying buckets if I lived it, like you did.

Poor puppers.

You're such a good person, D, for taking care of them like this.

OMG - I just want to run over there and hug that boy. I do hope he can dig out of there soon. Geez I wish I was closer & could help you. Thank you for giving these babies some love in their lives.

I am planning on rescuing these two poor dogs soon. Will keep everyone posted. It may take a while but I promised those dogs I would get them out of there!

Default A video I took the other day.

This husky/mix is so smart, he ran and dug his same toy out of the hole he burried it in and brought it to me!
