Drip, a local coffee house, is now open on Saluda Avenue in Five Points. Right now it is open from morning till early evening, but it plans to start staying open till 10 p.m. in August.

Not to be outdone, the Vista is about to get a Peace Love and Rocky Roast Coffee House and Creamery on Gervais Street. It's scheduled to open in July. The construction crew is pounding away inside now.

Went there today. Good strong coffee. Something Cola desperately needed. Good food too.

THere is cool beans, which I find is alright. same with immaculate consumption... But for it's size, there are not much in the way of coffee shops, no.

Default ? / what was in that space before Peace Love and Rockry Road

Was it it just a front entrance for Garden Bistro as it's listed as 923 Gervais Street and if so will they be connected or can u know only access garden bistro from the back entrance?

All 11 condos in the Lofts at Printer's Square have sold at auction. While money isn't still lining people's pockets, their desire to live downtown is steady.

Columbia has several (i'm a fan of Immac, myself), but the local joint of note in Five Points (Adriana's) ruled for 25 years before shuttering in late 2009 (owner retirement, maybe?), I think. Drip is picking up that market, it seems.
