Warm weather here. Women strolling the Vista wearing less clothing. To the young lady wearing the sun dress and man's snap brim straw hat...lovley darling...just lovely.
Awesome time for seeing the sights in the Vista....and you thought it was about buildings....LOL
LOL nice. Trust me, there has been many a time I've nearly rear ended the vehicle in front of me while staring too long at some beautiful people this great city has.

never thought to add that to my list of things i like about SC since moving here - the "scenery" can be viewed almost year round .... back in WI, unless the sight of a Columbia parka and Ugg boots trip your trigger, not so much
I went down to Canal Front today. The work is complete and all the construction equipment is gone. The landscaping alone will be breathtakingly gorgeous when it fills in and matures a little.
I finally stopped by and went yesterday, also. There were several other people including a couple doing some wedding photos. I really enjoyed it, it was very relaxing. I liked the nice touch with the rails that featured "COLUMBIA" with an illuminated blue light below it. My girlfriend who runs the riverwalk often, was surprised at the fact it was even there and how far down it stretched (below and through the Gervais St. bridge). I kinda looked at her wide eyed and explained Columbia's plan with it. A lot more running for her lol
Oh! And I couldn't forget the palm trees! Loved seeing those out there also. You called it CD, they were out there much to my satisfaction ha.
The Dupree Building on Gervais Street will become NAI Avant's headquarters. "A lot is happening in downtown Columbia. Several other major announcements are on the horizon."
Want to see the Blue Ridge? Look no further than the Backpacker in the Vista.
