Philadelphia is a city that outsiders don't get. You have to live in the city to understand it. You either hate it or love it. Either way, Philadelphians do not care.

Whats your issue?

Yea I don't get the bashing that Philadelphia tends to get. It's one of the best cities in the country and easily one of the best looking from a developmental standpoint (at least in the core...I know North Philly has some really tough parts). Maybe it's the perception that Philadelphians can be very aggressive, especially in regards to sports...I don't know. Either way, I think it's an unfair assessment from what I've experienced.

I do not think it has anything to do with being between NYC and DC.............

Right?!
Philly is a city of contradictions, grimy, clean, busted, beautiful. I can't think of too many cities that proposes such an anamoly.
