Probably true. It comes in handy where my girl Gypsy is concerned. When I sit in the recliner it's her cue to get in my lap, but it's not her style to simply jump up and lay down.... that would be too easy. Instead, she jumps up on the armrest, and on up to the back of the chair. She sits there for a moment beside my head looking down over my shoulder. Then she proceeds to walk down my chest, stopping with her front paws on my lap and back paws on my chest.... which leaves her little butt directly in front of my face. A prolonged period of biscuit making follows, allowing me to fully appreciate the beauty of her behind, and then she settles down in my lap for the appropriate petting that she deserves. I guess it's her way of saying she loves me.
