Zinger had no chance, not nearly enough lower body strength.....Celtics tried to cross match Holiday at one point, which sorta worked on offense, but not so much on defense. Nuggets going into playoff mode right now, seems they value that #1 seed, and are looking very tough to beat.
Jokic last season = 9.8 assists, 3.6 turnovers
Jokic this season = 9.2 assists, 2.9 turnovers
So he's improved his passing this season, despite averaging less assists.
I think last night wraps up the MVP race.........but holy cow what a heavyweight match-up of big guys.
My biggest takeaway is that the Nuggets' offense without Murray is just Jokic's gravity + 3 point variance. I don't think that will be enough playoff time. There isn't another guy on that roster who can create his own shot, nor anyone who you can run the offense through with Jokic to get him easy, assisted looks and that secondary action/rotations that lead to the cleanest looks for his teammates. They need a healthy Murray if they want to repeat.
They weren't sending doubles unless Jokic was posting Anderson, and Jokic took Reid, Gobert and Anderson to the woodshed for it. You can see multiple times when the help defender sticks back with Gordon to stop the lob play, and Jokic scores inside easily instead.
All I will say is 40+ points against Gobert and Wemby is as close to a "statement" as Jokic is going to make. He can't be stopped as a scorer. Reid was overpowered. Anderson was a joke. Jokic/Murray PrR was clowning Gobert once they switched to him as the primary defender. Jokic has been working Gobert out at the 3 point line with success every since that Bubble Series. He doesn't close out fast to him as a shooter, and he struggles with the footwork on the PrR action that far from the basket. It's not his game overall, and Murray/Jokic do it better than anyone.

Yeah, I was actually kind of impressed with the 41 points, but moreso the W.
