Unless it's very hot we will have a two lane track in Joliet. Traditionally some of the best times of the year if weather is OK.

it would be nice to see a race where the cars can just get down the track with out smoking the tires. watching is not much fun when it's just a tire smoking event. or a one lane track.

Do you OWN a NITRO Funny Car or TF Dragster? or just a crew member? Steve Rhoades (Frame Works) from ARIZ. (formally from SD area) builds funny car frames. He built my Dragster frame for me when in SD, 1000 lbs with me in it, that qualified for NHRA I/D 9.99 Index. Still have my receipts. Steve

Won't get there this year. Very busy at 66 this now that the season has started. Looks like I'm moving to NE Tenn later this year. Bristol in my backyard and Charlotte not too far away so 2009 looks good

Was this for me or JFR? I have done both. Owned part of an injected nitro car in the 60's, crewed on nitro FC in 90's. You can figure out how old that makes me. I watch now but still have friends in the driver's seat, pit area and owners suites.
