WRONG ANSWER... Correct answer is "Where else can you get your rocks off every ( in my case) 10 secs" My NHRA legal licensed VW dragster 9.99 index 10.02 at 133 mph in 1/4 mile. Steve

Personally I have respect for those who engage in Drag Racing. For some it takes a lot of dedication and for some a lot of R & D and MONEY. My utmost RESPECT is for those who have a NHRA DRIVERS LICENSE. It not so simple as going to your local DMV for a street drivers license. First of all is the expense of the race vehicle/hrs of assembly/disassembly/R&D/cost of expensive (special) fuel/extra parts inventory etc. Top that off with having a Doctors clearance and the going to the track and BEING signed off by Drivers in or above your Class who have witnessed your required trial runs which is then turned in to NHRA office who will assign your License and Vehicle NHRA Number. I know as I went thru the requirements and passed with I/D Dragster 9.99 Index. Steve

Playing yes

Doing any good, no

I don't pick by performance. My favorite FC drivers, Head & Wilkerson haven't done much until last week. It figures Tim wins and I forgot to get my picks in.

Steve,

Where did you get your license? Did I announce your runs?

I got my license at Pomona office a little over 20 yrs ago. Took my drivers test at OCIR. Started racing my stock Cad over 50 yrs ago when Pomona first opened up. I would chirp the tires in 2nd and 3rd (automatic). My dad was a top mechanic and had built the engine for me. Got beat by a Lincoln ( 1 ft). Can't win them all. Thanks for asking. Steve
