Yeah, that will go down well in 40 degree heat

Speaking of heat, we got close to 30 degree average for the month of November in Perth. Way hotter than normal, while I see Melbourne continues to get Rain

Qatar was the PC choice.

As far as our bid ... that excrutiating video with the cartoon roo .... OMG! Cringe, cringe, cringe!

Yes, Qatar will certainly have to loosen up for the soccer fans. Not just the drinking but all that infidel flesh being shown. I wonder if that South American lady with the big hooters will be there?

they're apparently allowing the beer to flow for the WC.

I don't mind its being held in a developing country, (they're all fascinating locations) but it seems odd for FIFA to do that 4 in a row.

Not only did Australia not get nominated for 22, but were the least favourite, going out in the first round, with the final choice between USA and Qatar.

"Iced" tea?

An Indian co-worker of mine told me that where he's from
they believe drinking hot tea helps make you feel better when it's very muggy outside...
I don't understand that logic, but it at least seems it wouldn't affect tea's popularity.

*Isn't tea popular in the Middle East?
