those swimming snakes are dangerous. Stay away from em'. Water Moccasins.

Pictures of Austin in this thread are amazing! Austin is truly beautiful with both urban environment and scenic beauty together.

I don't know why I see Dallasites (especially) and Houstonians belittle Austin in many threads. It is not required to have tall and dense skylines & endless miles of sprawl to be a great city.

I am looking forward to visit Austin this summer and I might move there this year whenever I apply and get a job in my field.

Do the snakes apply to popular Barton Springs, Lake Lady Bird, and Hamilton Pool too or just Lake Travis?

Hi

I am living in the UK and thinking about moving to Austin Texas the photos are absolutely amazing, I found this forum through internet search. I want to move there now. Can you please tell me Jobs I have a degree and good qualifications am looking to get into Human Resource. Schools, also my son 13 plays Rugby is it popular there, renting cost, cost of living.
Here in the UK we live by the sea I will like to be close, how far is it in Austin?

Are there anymore pictures you can provide please

these were at some park near downtown... can't remember what it was called. there was a swimming pool there and a large river right beside it. visited a few times.. shame i can't find the other shots i took there.




i'll be visiting again in the middle of feb. to look at apartments, condos, and etc. can't wait.
