My family and I have been coming to this diner for the last 15 years, it's unfortunate that the level of service has dropped tremendously since its been under new management. Today was the worst experience I have ever encountered out of any restaurant I have ever gone too. It started over coffee. I asked the waitress for a glass of ice coffee. The coffee tasted old, so I asked the waitress when it was made and she informed me with an attitude, "it was made last night". I politely asked her if she would bring me fresh coffee. She took my glass away and stormed off. She threw my glass in the sink with anger. She came back with a new cup and slammed it down on the table. When my food came, she slammed the plate down on the table as well, she gave me a dirty look and stormed off. I could hear her complaining about me from 10 feet away to her co-worker. About 10 minutes later she asked me if I wanted more coffee. I said " yes please and without the attitude". She slammed my glass back down on the table and said to me "I am not getting you anything, you can ask someone else" and she stormed off again. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time that I didn't even want to finish my food. I could hear her complaining extensively to her manager. When I went to pay the bill I spoke to the manager who stands at the podium and she was rude as well. I tried to explain to her what transpired and before I could get a word out, she told me there is 2 sides to a story, she gave me the impression she wasn't interested I what I had to say. I asked for the owner. The owner came out and I explained everything to him. He seemed pretty but I don't think he issue will be address internally.
