Homeschool Info Meeting in Fort Mill (Arial: public schools, live in, price)

There will be an information meeting for anyone interested in homeschooling on April 21st from 6:30 - 7:30 at the Fort Mill Library. The meeting will cover how to get started in homeschooling, SC homeschool laws, and area support groups.

Just wondering, why would you home school your children when you live in Fort Mill and can send them to good public schools?

I talked with Beka yesterday. There is one August 7th in Fort Mill. My wife is planning on attending as we have a son entering K. you can get $100 off if you order your materials that day (drops the price to $650 for parent-directed course).

We moved to the area and didn't realize the school was so bad. It was either home school or Christian schools, but they expensive.
