What do WY and these other states do to stop it? Can it be stopped? Are we inevitably on a path of destruction? Its a very interesting time we live in, something's gotta give and who knows what that might be for 100% certainty. I'm sure most of us kinda know what's coming, but it will be an interesting decade to say the least.

I think we're seeing the beginning of the de-urbanization of America. It's time we started filling up the sparsely populated Western states.

The 2020s will see a massive migration of 10s of millions of conservative whites(mainly) from blue counties to red counties in blue & red states. Then, you will see a never ending civil war between blue state governments/DC and red counties.

Nope, not with the water shortages. Lake Powell is at an historic low.

I hear that occasionally.

The arid west is not Tennessee or Wisconsin. Most areas don't have enough water to sustain much life and even less industry.

These discussions started in Sheridan a cpl years ago. Imo Sheridan is continuing the divide of the rich and the poor. The rich have already started worrying as if they can't come up with affordable housing, no one will be there to pamper and cater to their every need. We almost moved there yrs ago and so happy we didn't. The attitude of the lower class is not that good at all.

Very doubtful in Wyoming. Basically the only land left that is even remotely affordable is the prairie. With Wy storms it's quite miserable to live on the prairie. The ranches are also worth more than if it were subdivided so that nice land won't be broken up into subdivisions.

Which is why Idaho is the more preferred location for those with money. For those that can't afford Idaho, there's Montana, Wyoming, the Dakotas.
