I'm considering some spring/early summer marathons, and came upon the Casper Marathon. It looks like fun, and Wyoming is on my short list of places to visit. Can anyone give me any information about the city (fun things to do other than run), sights, terrain, weather, etc?

Robojudge.

Casper about like anywhere else for intertainment. Theaters and such. But hike your butt south a few miles and really find out about Wyoming. The Casper mountains are some of the most beautiful sights you'll ever see.

Be prepared for wind and chill. Not unbarable, but something you need to think about and prepare for.

The other thing your going to have watch out for, is friendly people.

Do you live in high country?? I just want to make sure you're aware of what altitude sickness is. It's not just drunk skiers that are affected, and it can make you sicker than a dog, wishing you would die.
