It seems to be a very prosperous area. What does everybody do for work? I know its near yellowstone. Are there a lot of biologists and Geologists who work in the park? It seems like a beautiful area. What does somebody need to do to score a job out there?

Most the State non-profits are head quartered there, Allot of the workers live in Star Valley Wyoming and Teton Valley Idaho, They have a big regional; hospital, allot of business is directed toward tourism.
It something like only 4% private land and most of that in larger ranches, and yes there is a lot of trust fund families there, along with other money.

Much of the jobs in Teton County are service related since tourism rules there. I'm not sure what the odds are for biologists or geologists. You might check with the Jackson Field Office for the Fish and Game. As Jody said, most of the workers live in Star Valley and Teton Valley, Idaho, both areas I am unfamiliar with.

Also check out USA jobs, the government job posting site. I think I saw a couple of biologist jobs in the area the last time I pursued it. I think they were probably with the NPS, but I am not sure.
