I can't take it any more - my bicker alarm just went off. You have noticed my "User title?"

Back to our regularly scheduled program...

When in doubt use more than one version.

Copanut, back in December 2009 you started this thread which has grown to 126 pages and I have an important question. What is the topic of this thread?

The topic is venting about egregious grammatical and spelling errors encountered by us from time to time.

I sometimes see a typo as eye catching, and makes the post more interesting to read. I don't know why that is.
I play online scrabble a lot, on the order of maybe 1000 games a year. I always chat with the other players. There are a couple of typos I've made that I repeat for fun, especially with players who know me.

Once I typed "hell everybody" when I meant to type "hello". Another time I meant to type "good luck" but oops, I typed "good lick".

Now my standard greeting is "Hell and good lick".

That happens with me a lot. Saying something by mistake, then adapting it as the regular word. My friend Brenda, once called herself Brender (not intentionally) and from then on she is Brender to me.
