Well, although the person who originally posted that gem several years ago is not likely to read my response, perhaps others might like to see what I posted in that forum:
I am currently taking English Composition II and I find it appalling that some of my classmates do not know proper MLA format.
Hell, I don't even know what "MLA" is. Even more appalled now, are you?

I see what you mean. I just read on a subforum about Duchess Kate's pregnancy, "Congrats, them." It does sound ridiculous.
