Here's another little mistake that occurred at the law firm in Philadelphia where I worked years ago. One of the secretaries had just typed up a letter her boss had dictated. The letter was going to clients, a married couple with the last name, "Wolf." Here is the way the letter went out:

That error was nothing compared to this next one - a deliberate atrocity, which also happened at the same law firm in Phila.:
A young associate lawyer had just handwritten a brief for his very young, inexperienced secretary to type. For those unfamiliar with legal terminology and documents, briefs are anything but.... they tend to be long-winded and dull.

When the secretary looked over the brief she gasped as every other word her boss had written in his legal brief was a profanity. All 23 pages, riddled with four-letter words. The secretary typed it, but I don't know what happened after that.
