I'm having a hard time recalling exactly who kept repeating those words, but I imagine that he was speaking to people of that ilk.

I do like this one - high praise from the high-brow set? Say for 2001: a space odyssey? Rock Hudson is alleged to have walked out on a screening, complaining that there was hardly any room for acting talent on there. (Yah, I always thought he was unnaturally pretty, for a man. Faint praise, I know. Poor man, he was apparently hardly a naturally born actor. & so it goes ...)

I remember when Jonathon Livingston Seagull came out. My parents took me to see it (I was just a little shaver and thought it was the bestest moooovie everrrrrr!) But my father said it gave him a headache. I guess maybe in the frontal lobe?
Speaking of arts, over on the political forum someone is complaining that "Stephan" King is a liberal. For some reason, the poster wants us to tell our homes about this. I don't think my home will care one way or the other, to tell the truth. Now, if we were IN a Stephen King novel, maybe my home would have thoughts and opinions.
