Nah, if it's just one guy, he's an alumnus. Latin is funny that way, & we're just lucky that we don't get into cases on this one. If you're referring to a bunch of male graduates of the school, then collectively they're all alumni. (Yah, there are feminine forms too - the more permissive authorities will let you refer to a group of male & female grads as alumni - the more restrictive want both forms.)
This reminds me of the time I was driving around and came upon a fancy BMW driven by a man with a license plate holder that read "Harvard Alumni".
I thought maybe he suffered from Multiple Personality Disorder!
Because a Harvard grad would just KNOW 'alumni' is wrong!
By the way, the female version of Alumni is Alluminati, cause we are so smart and we pull the strings behind the scenes!
Easy, there, southwest. I intended it ironically, in the spirit of this thread.
Ah, my bad then. I think it was Monty Python that invented a hand gesture - the right hand, palm up, starting from the lap, extending to max reach & in a parabola more-or-less, towards the addressee. It was to let the person know that any accompanying sound was meant ironically.
Where are those boys, now that we actually need them?

In the Car Talk forum, somebody is asking for advice regarding a car that he recently wrecked.
He states that the car is "defiantly out of alignment", but on a positive note, it "doesn't have any leeks".
There is nothing mentioned regarding the presence or absence of any other vegetables.

Nicci, I sure hope for your sake that whatever website you are visiting for these outlandish freaks of grammar is really worth it!
If the majority of posts are as noted, I'd be driven insane!
