Have you read about the Sun lately? Lots of huge solar storms and flaires. It could maybe qualify as fire and brimstone. So...WIIFM?
But really a solar flaire large enough to really effect our infrastructure and knock out our countries grid system is pretty possible.- a local home schooling mom, discussing her thoughts about the "Sun."

I knew a teacher that would make her students read their essays out loud, and she had one rule: The reader was not allowed to take a breath until he or she came to some sort of punctuation.
Great idea! The only problem with that would be that a lot of the students would be reading their essays as if their commas were periods. I can't believe how many people are guilty of writing one run-on sentence after another, and simply don't have a clue as to what the difference between a comma and a period is.
