... in this market roomers of Interest rate hike trigger bigger sell-offs then then actual interest rate hike...

Roomers used twice in the same post.

I don't like the unnecessary redundancy of 'Where are you at?', but ending sentences with prepositions is something I am enamored of.

Other than in instances of very formal writing, this is generally accepted now, you know and it appears to be that it was never an official 'rule'.

Drives me crazy. I fix them with my Sharpie when I can. I know the workers in my supermarket see me and think I'm crazy. I figure what with all the cat food they see me buy, they already think that anyway.

Yesterday, we began work in our new building. The woman whose cubicle is outside my office decorated her workspace beautifully, including adding a decal sign that says, 'Everyday is a gift'. Now I am going to have to look at that EVERY DAY!

She is a very nice woman, so I resisted the urge to put a sign next to it that says, "No, 'everyday' is an adjective."

I carry around a Sharpie, too. Every week I correct the sign in the grocery store that says, "Brussel sprouts." I'm going to end up in jail with nothing but my permanent marker to keep me company.

Have you all seen the thread title about releasing creamated ashes? Won't they just sort of go SPLAT and hit the ground? What if a stray cat comes along and licks them up?

Free cat ad on Craigslist:

"She is a little skiddish, but is a great cat overall."

Well, maybe if you didn't use her for an overall, but just left her in her own fur coat...
