Is it bad that I laughed at this? It's just reached the level of absurdity that I find hilarious.
I love it when people say, "Your a idiot" or "Your a moron". That always cracks me up. Oh yeah, you sure showed them, didn't ya, Sparky?

You made me laugh on an earlier post on an "unknown thread".

Good! If something I write makes someone laugh, I've done my job.

I always find those comments to be humorous, too.

Another example:
"Your stereotypes are rediculous and make you sound un-intelligent." - from a local news station's comment section.

Once, when I corrected somebody's use of the non-word, "alot", he responded that it was a legitimate word. Luckily, that caused a flurry of other posts on the blog informing that person of the need to consult his dictionary.

In case anyone is interested in the topic of the conversation on that blog, it was--surprise, surprise--education, and the person who insisted that "alot" is a word held himself up as an expert on the topic.

Yes, these situations are ironically humorous.

alot drives me up the wall! Do you write alittle? or alot?

Recently I've seen or is it I seen it being spelled allot. Now that's a word, just doesn't fit.

Another one driving me crazy recently is that people seem to have lost the ability to distinguish between when to use "every day" and when to use "everyday". I just saw it misused in my newspaper again.

You don't write, "I go to the gym everyday". You go to the gym every day.

However, going to the gym can be an everyday occurrence!

I'm a latecomer to the thread and may have missed any mention of this teeth-grinder: noone.
No one should be allowed to get away with that.
