Most boring countries to live in? (shoppers, train station, suburbs)

So, four hours in a Dutch train station was more boring than than two years in an entire country? Who would have thought? :-)
I didn't stay in the train station. I went outside and tried to find something more interesting than the train station. There was nothing. I sat in a park, and there wasn't even any one there. It was the longest four hours of my life. It still sticks in my mind as such. I suppose, if one lived in Rotterdam, one might find something to do, but it was not apparent. I've stood on a road and tried to hitchhike for four hours, that was less boring than that.
The purpose of my post was to disagree with previous posters, who assumed that living in a Muslim country would be boring, which it is not.

I like alcohol free countries. I wonder how many people die/get killed because of alcohol every day.

I got and understand the point you want to make with that, but it seems like you've lived a very sheltered life so far if those were the longest four hours of your life.

Have you ever lived in any of the Scandinavian countries?
I think any country becomes boring to live in once you've lived there your whole life. I think the US is boring but that's because I've been in the same town my entire life.
But otherwise, countries I'd assume to be relatively boring are places extremely far north or south with low populations, such as Mongolia, New Zealand, some parts of southern South America, and places in the US and Canada extremely far north like Alaska. Just my opinion, though.
... while going deaf in a club with vapid teeny-boppers and watered down drinks and weak lagers is boring.
I can give it about 15 minutes in this situation before I get a pressing need to shoot myself. I hated this scene at 17, I hated it at 25, I hate it to this day. If all such venues would somehow disappear off the face of the Earth over night, it would be a better and oh, so much less boring, world.
But this question is indeed completely off-the-wall without the context of values.
All cultures with a "partying=drinking" mentality are horrifically boring to me. Yes, I am talking about you, Anglo-saxon lands...heck, the whole North of Europe, Canada, etc.
All I see in those are people who have such deep-seated psychological issues and social inhibitions that they cannot possibly understand how anyone could enjoy life or experience any level of "true fun" without numbing themselves into oblivion with alcohol and drugs.
The cultures of "enjoying life" for me are those in the Mediterranean area, Eastern Europe and South America: with people who love authentic communication, intellectual conversations, spirituality, who love to dance, to sing, to fall in love madly, to take life in with all of its joys and pains, and feel it to the bone - ALL without the help of mind-numbing substances like drugs and alcohol.
The "partying=substance use=fun" cultures are terribly boring to me, as economically developed as they may be. A sense of spirituality in such cultures is usually severely castrated and lack of spirituality is the most reliable supplier of perpetual boredom and void, which in return require massive amounts of alcohol, drugs and superficial distractions to make life seem "fun" now and then.
To their credit though, such countries CAN give you some bread.
Or a better bread.
