Jesus, all of you might as well say the world is boring. How about Mars. I heard that's just dreadful. If you're going to go out, shut up, enjoy the place you're at, and do some research. Even the most boring places will knock your sock off if you're not an idiot.

I lived in rural areas in France and I think it is VERY DIFFICULT to find anywhere in the world more boring places. NOTHING HAPPENS; period.

I find the opposite. I just love France, it's large and diverse!

I think Singapore is as boring as all get out. It's so small.
Luckily, you can drive over to Malaysia or take trips to Indonesia.

If your criteria for "not boring" are "large and diverse", then there are far better contenders than France : India, China, Brazil, Russia,CND, Mexico, and the good ole' US of A !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Using a mix of "low crime", "low inequality", and "lack of natural disasters" perhaps Norway is the "most boring" with the Czech Republic and Austria close.

International Human Development Indicators - UNDP

If you want something smaller perhaps Moldova. I read that they have very low levels of happiness and high rates of alcoholism. Possibly they could unhappy and drunk due to boredom. (I'm not being too serious here)

I've heard critisms levelled against Canada regarding this issue. I'll also say that some interior sections of the US kinda can be snoozevilles. Africa too?

My point is that each area of France has something great about it. It's large enough to see a lot of it; each area is diverse.
There's different food, drink, scenery in each section of France.
I spend a lot of time in the Vosges, in a village of 37, and never find it boring.

I've been to the other countries you mention, except for Brazil, and I still find France interesting, large and diverse.

My opinion just differs from yours.
