I think it is. Go to Google and type in, "The Africa that they never show". All western media is interested in showing about Africa is it's starving poor and it's poverty. There are cities and countries all over the continent of Africa that are developed and that have high standards of living, there are also parts that are poor and impoverished, this can be said about any continent on earth.
What most people don't understand is that the majority of Arabs living in North Africa are not 100% Arab in ancestry. They are more Arab in culture. Most North Africans are a mixture of African(usually Berber or Egyptian) and Arab(from Southwest Asia). It's sort of similar to how Latin America is when it comes to ethnic mixing.

Right. Arab is like a pan cultural term & it's analogous to the Hispanic & Latino labels & conundrum. Arabs can be of any race or any religion. Additionally, & further breaking down the discrepancy, MANY Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis, Moroccans, Libyans, Sudanese, and Mauritanians often all identify as “Arab” even though they are of diverse origins and DNA studies have shown none of these people originate from Arabia. The only real Arabs are the Yemenis, Omanis, Saudis, Qataris, Emiratis, and probably Kuwaitis (maybe Jordanians too). Egyptians, Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese, Palestinians, Bahrainis, Sudanese, Mauritanians, Moroccans, Libyans, Tunisians, Algerians, and the “Arabs” of the Sahara and Iran are not truly Arabs at all. They are just descendants of pre-Islamic peoples who converted to Islam, adopted the Arabic language, and eventually became called as “Arabs”. It’s quite obvious that the Sudanese, for example, are not Arabs but it is harder for people to tell that Syrians, Egyptians, etc. are not Arabs either due to their Middle Eastern looks. So the Andalusian “Arabs” were not Arabs (nor Berbers nor blacks), they were just Arabic-speaking Muslim indigenous Iberians. This is similar to how the “Turks” of Turkey speak Turkish and are Muslims, yet they are obviously not Central Asian or Mongolic; they are Anatolians (plus some Greeks, Caucasians, Slavs, Albanians, etc.) who adopted the Turkish language and the Islamic religion. Spaniards, Portuguese, French, Moldovans, Romanians, and alot of Belgians and Swiss all speak in Romance/Latin languages, though that does not make them Romans or Italians right? This is all proved and backed up by multiple genetic studies. To deny this is to deny scientific evidence and believe in the old ignorance of medieval times.
what history? the subsaharan parts of africa didn't even have a written language when the colonialists arrived. ofc it had a "history", but not history in the human sense.
Hot weather, little to no agriculture, not much resources...would you blame them?
Ancient Egypt redeemed Africa anyway. It had one of the best kingdoms in the world.

There were many empires (civilizations) in Africa outside Ancient Egypt another common misconception...
Africa is probably the most resource filled continent in the world...
