I know, the Cole-Haan ones. I've tried them. The sole is nice, the rest of the shoe is still killer for walking miles in. I've tried Doc Martens, Cole Haan, Dockers, Hush Puppies, they all rub after while.

When I work from home (about 30% of the time) I wear shorts and a t-shirt.

WHen I'm in the field it's either business casual or full business attire.

Dang, those are exactly the ones I was gonna reccomend.

I suggest Chuck Taylors, then.

I get to wear scrubs, and I wouldn't change it for anything. Comfort-wise, I feel like I'm in my pajamas all day!

Since I spend my days in a sweaty, dirty uniform, I'd probably want to dress up in some stylish vintage attire

I can wear pretty much anything I want to work. Jeans, tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops, capris. Now that it is getting hot I am wearing dresses more. I am tired of jeans.

You said you couldn't wear flip flops to work, maybe certain ones you can't wear?

Default I'm a PE teacher

I'm a PE teacher. I dress in athletic attire everyday. Some days I will put on shorts and a t-shirt when it's warm. Other days I will wear track pants and a t-shirt covered by a hoodie. I usually put on basketball shoes.
