How did you get hired with a nose piercing if it's against company policy? I am surprised you got past the interview process.

Wow it´s almost 2015 and people are still freaked out by a nose ring, I thought that ended in 1990.

Getting such a piercing would probably send her to the unemployment line... unless she's smart and if she does get one she takes it out each work day... but why bother then?

If she wants a retail job working at Spencers with those who have such piercings.... go for it.

She can get a job at the circus in the freak show. My company would noe hire anyone with piercing to the face. I don't care what year this is and people wonder why they can't find a job. People with those open hole earlobes abd nose rings look like those people you see on National Geographic wearing grass skirts.

And has a lack of good judgement. One of the important things when hiring an employee is if you can trust them to make good decisions. Making the choice to have a nose ring certainly isn't one of them.

But I should also say that mine is really small, ive actually had friends who've known me for years and did not know i had a nose ring and would just say "hey when did you get this" even though I've been having it since I'm 19.

Mine is like this :

hey when did you get this - Is nice way of saying, "Remove that thing".

In my last job I worked in the SAP data center, half the people there looked like they came from a freak show. A modest nose ring or stud is not at all unusual even in very conservative companys. My advisor at my bank has one.

If its an internet or a startup then probably not a big deal. Any position thats customer facing its not appropriate though.

I walked into a blng the other week, and the attractive receptionist had a small one. I find most of them attractive on women.

If it's White Collar America I only take issue with a woman that has a loop nose ring. Sexy, but not F500, topic for another thread.
