I started a temp job on Friday. I had trouble finding the location so I had to call the agency. Once they directed me there, I came across an area I didn't expect the place to be in. It was near the industrial area and at the edge where the harbor is-downtown Brooklyn. I worked my shift on Friday but on Monday I expressed my concern about the location with my agent. But I should have excused myself to speak to him alone. Instead, I called him while I was on a small break in the office and the coordinator heard our conversation.
I FEEL STUPID AND ANGRY ABOUT THIS. I JUST HAD A BRIDGE AND I BURNED IT.
I am usually shy about asking for advice but I need it right now.
Well you managed to get there Friday and Monday. Did you say it was hard to get to?
Honestly, I can't see how you can fix this mistake. Once they term you, they term you. And they did not have a big investment in you, only 2 days.
In the future, if you have to call an agency with any concerns or problems, do it on your cell phone outside of the assignment office.
I didn't say it was hard. It was hard in the beginning because I couldn't find the building. But I learned my lesson. I want to fix it by finding something else.

Well, best of luck to you!
What do you do? Is there a lot of temp work in that market?

Well I am trying to look for an administrative/clerical position to start off. But I feel bad about what I did. My grandmother is angry about what happened and is threatening to take action if I don't find something else.
