I think you're over-analyzing how hard getting a C in a general education math class is.

One of my friends has repeat surgeries to remove tumors that keep growing in his head and he did fine in business calculus.

The only thing that limits people are the laws of physics (for now) and lack of confidence. You can do it.

I was in resource math most of my school career.

In high school, when I took the PSAT, I scored in the 8% in math.

Because I want to see if anyone else will say whether or not I'll have to take Calc.

Someone already mentioned that they did not have to take Calc BUT you should check with your school.

Your school would be the source for this question.

You should look at your marketing program and see if it's required
Also, I majored in communications and marketing and did NOT have to take Calc. Just a college math and I chose statistics.

You need to speak with the academic advisor at your school.

scoring in the 8th percentile in Math is not good for a business major. While you will not be doing calculus, you will need to understand and use more math than adding and subtracting.

But this does not mean that you are resigned to a low paying menial job. There are many, many careers that revolve and writing or creative things that pay very well.

What kinds of math? Statistics? I think I COULD handle statistics.

Like what? I DON'T want to do writing for a career.

Maybe I could go to trade school.

What about practical non-math/science majors? One that will ACTUALLY get me a job.
