we just moved here 3 mos ago and most everyone has been very nice and welcoming and very helpful too but we are here in the dickinson/belfield area maybe that makes a difference? i dunno?
I have a belly dump and a flatbed trail, looking for work in Williston, or Minot area. Hard worker, Reliable and Ready now. Anyone know where to start?
I am not sure of how the companies work when it comes to bringing your own trucks?? I know many people have purchased water tankers and crude tankers and they contract with numerous companies in NW North Dakota hauling water and oil to and from sites. As far as belly dumps and flatbed, I'm assuming many of these service companies also contract. But for the most part, the bigger ones already have the trucks. With all the new subdivisions being built in the Williston area, I don't think you would have a problem getting a job in the excavation area. There are many that do oil filed prep work, etc... as well as site work for subdivisions, etc... Maybe check with an excavation company in Williston called HEXOM.
I just received my CDL class a license. I can move any where. Just looking to work hard. Not a perfect record but not a bad one either. Can anybody give me some names of companies in williston.
I just googled Williston, ND trucking and you can find numerous oilfield trucking companies. The list and web addresses are too numerous to list here. But most are for oilfield service companies.

Why did you call it "gouge" town? Were the prices of all goods and services heavily inflated? Even at the Wallymart?
