Watch my dashcam videos on YouTube. Search "Bad Drivers of Asheville". You'll find an example of almost everything mentioned in this thread, plus more. I've almost got enough material for a fourth one. Note: If bad language offends you, then you might want to skip the videos. Or at least cover the bottom part of the screen so you can't see my comments.
If the speed limit at the curve is 35 mph, you drop your speed to 35 mph. You may think you are an expert driver at 50 mph on a curve, but if another cowboy coming in the opposite direction has the same attitude, you could both wind up in the morgue. Or worse.
right because you cant possibly take a curve faster than the SUGGESTED speed denoted on the sign that is different than the actual speed limit sign, without possibly dying, even if it's only 5-10mph more!!!!!! No offense, but I would wager you're either 55 or older, not from this state originally, or both. Not trying to be mean, but Ive driven these curvy roads for nearly 20 years, and knowing that I can handle a curve smoothly has nothing to do with thinking I'm an expert, and everything to do with knowing how to properly navigate a curve without absolutely slamming my brakes on or having to drop 15 or 20 mph from the speed limit.

I have absolutely no problem with how fast you take a curve as long as you stay on your side of the road. It's the people who try to take them too fast and end up in my lane on a blind curve that I have a problem with.
I constantly see open cab pick up trucks with teenagers and dogs sitting in the back of the truck. If the driver hits the brakes or gets in an accident, the people and pets would go flying out? I never saw this before I moved here. What about seat belts?
So it seems NC does not have a seat belt law, since these kids are riding loose in the cab.
No, we do. Technically it is illegal to not have a seatbelt... But I've seen cops drive right by trucks full of teens on I40!!! Without stopping them sooooo. :/.
So if they fly out of the cab and the car behind hits them, then what?
